The National Women’s Soccer League’s back in action, so that means we’re back with another iteration of Anatomy of a Goal! This week, we’re honing in on the first of Orlando Pride’s two stoppage time efforts against Racing Louisville FC.

Yes, you read that correctly. The Pride — and Barbra Banda specifically — managed to score on Racing in stoppage time of both halves, at the 46+6’ and 90+3’ marks. Unfortunately for Orlando, though, they still fell short and ultimately lost to Louisville by a 3-2 scoreline, which brought their record to 2-2-2 as they sit in eighth place in the NWSL standings.

While the final scoreline was no doubt a let down for the Pride, the goals they scored were definitely not. Let’s watch the first one in full, before we break it down frame-by-frame, per usual.
