IDA Sports Launches First-Ever Pride Cleats Released at Scale

Women-led cleat brand releases footwear collection built in Pride with Athlete Ally and Common Goal ahead of Pride Month

NEW YORK (May 13, 2026) — IDA Sports, a woman-founded and led company that designs cleats exclusively for women athletes, today launches the first performance cleat purpose-built with Pride at its core and released at scale. The IDA Helia Play in Full Color collection provides professional-level, first-in class design and support on and off the field with LGBTQIA+ impact partners Athlete Ally and Common Goal.

IDA’s signature Helia Play in Full Color WMNSFIT® speed cleats combine biometric-informed design and graphics that channel the full spectrum of the Pride flag into a dynamic ombre gradient, flowing with intention and creating a sense of momentum that mirrors movement, unity, and unapologetic self-expression. The reimagined logo in the color of the Trans flag echoes IDA’s ethos that all women deserve their place on the field, and vibrant rainbow outsoles reflect the brilliance, resilience and individuality of the athletes who bring the game to life.

“Pride in this sport has often lived on the surface; in laces, armbands, in moments that come and go. We want to move beyond symbolic colorways and deliver a product where intention and performance are built in,” said Laura Youngson, Co-Founder and CEO of IDA Sports. “This cleat weaves Pride into every stitch to celebrate all LGBTQIA+ athletes and allies.”

Every purchase through the duration of the campaign using the Athlete Ally kickback code will donate 10% of proceeds to the national organization whose mission is to help every athlete act as an ally and ensure every LGBTQIA+ person is welcome and safe in sports. IDA will also donate an in-kind gift of 10 IDA Helia Pro Play in Full Color cleats to Athlete Ally ambassadors, expanding access to world-class equipment, and provide IDA customers the opportunity to donate directly to Athlete Ally through their website from May 13 – July 30, 2026.

“It is impossible to comprehend where the world of sports would be today without the LGBTQIA+ community, so we’re excited to see that foundation reflected so thoroughly through IDA’s design and dedication to visibility,” says Athlete Ally Founder Hudson Taylor. “We’re honored to partner with them through this campaign during a time when education and support are instrumental for current and future generations of athletes.”

IDA Sports also partners with Common Goal’s Play Proud inclusion initiative to provide certified organizations with an in-kind donation of 5 IDA Helia Pro Play in Full Color cleats each and is giving an upfront donation to the first official World Football Giving Day, scheduled for May 26, 2026. IDA customers will be able to donate directly to the fund through a dedicated landing page to support LGBTQIA+ activism and access within the soccer industry from May 19 – May 26.

“As an LGBTQIA+ leader in soccer, I understand the impact that ‘playing in full color’ has on an individual and on a team,” says Common Goal CEO Mary Connor. “To see that power take the shape of a dedicated cleat on a dedicated international day of giving back to the game creates a powerful ripple that can make this sport more inclusive and welcoming for everyone for years to come.”
