The Aaron Judge injury situation is starting to get extremely concerning for the New York Yankees.
Not only was he out of the lineup for a third consecutive game on Thursday, but he is also seeing a series of specialists including one that specializes in thoracic outlet syndrome management.
Judge has already undergone an MRI and a CT scan in an effort to figure out what is wrong, but the Yankees still have no definitive answer and want to eliminate all possibilities.
Aaron Judge seeing specialist is concerning update for Yankees
While the Yankees are still trying to eliminate possibilities, the very thought of thoracic outlet syndrome is especially concerning because if he is dealing with something like that it could not only keep him out of the lineup for months, it could also potentially end his season.
Or worse.
While it is more common in pitchers than position players, it is an injury that few players ever come back from and return to their previous level of play.
