Becky Lynch makes bold claim amid WWE absence

Becky Lynch made a bold claim amid her WWE hiatus. The Man has not competed in a match since being eliminated from the Queen of the Ring tournament on the June 8 edition of RAW.

Speaking on Off The Ropes, Big Time Becks commented on her hiatus and suggested that the company needed her. She noted that everyone now knows what the show was like without her and that it was not exciting enough.

“We do need me. Sometimes you gotta let ‘em know. Sometimes you gotta point the torch. You gotta be the lighthouse. You gotta say, okay guys, what did you want? What did you want? Well, here’s the light. Here’s the rest. Here’s what it looks like without me. Do you like it? Do you like it? Is it exciting? Is it fun? No! It’s not! It needs more Becky Lynch, and then you come back and then everybody goes, I knew it. It was her all along,” said Lynch. (H/T: Fightful)

Lynch lost the Women’s Intercontinental Championship to Sol Ruca at Clash in Italy in May. Sol Ruca is scheduled to defend the title tonight on WWE RAW against The Judgment Day’s Raquel Rodriguez.

Seth Rollins hints at Becky Lynch’s WWE return

Seth Rollins recently teased Becky Lynch’s return to the company. Rollins will be challenging Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam this weekend.

Speaking on The Rich Eisen Show, Rollins discussed the upcoming ladder match at SummerSlam to crown the interim WWE Women’s Champion. Rhea Ripley captured the title at WrestleMania 42 but is currently out with an injury. Rollins suggested that Lynch could take the final spot in the ladder match at the PLE. Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton, Chelsea Green, and Charlotte Flair have already qualified for the match.

“Well, you know, it seems like they’re SmackDown superstars [Five-way ladder match for the Interim WWE Women’s Championship]. My wife is a RAW superstar. [Brand] It doesn’t always matter. We’ll see what happens,” Rollins said.

It will be interesting to see when Becky Lynch finally returns to the ring.
