    With the Genshin Impact 7.0 update all set to release shortly, HoYoverse has opened up applications for the version 7.1 beta test. Anyone who wishes to participate in this beta test will need to complete and submit a form for HoYoverse’s consideration.

    This form will only be available till August 5, 2026, following which all applications for the 7.1 beta will be closed.

    As is customary with all beta tests, players who are selected to participate in the upcoming beta test will get to test out some of the new content planned for version 7.1, including the new characters, their weapons, and other related gameplay.

    While the drip marketing for Genshin Impact 7.1 is yet to happen, leaks have suggested that Vodyanitsa, a 5-star Hydro unit, might be releasing in the second patch of Snezhnaya.

    HoYoverse has made an announcement on the official Genshin Impact Discord Server regarding the onset of the Genshin Impact 7.1 beta test. This announcement states that the beta test for version 7.1 is currently open, and anyone wishing to participate in it should apply via the provided form.

    Eligibility and prerequisites to apply for the Genshin Impact 7.1 beta test

    Even though the 7.1 beta test is open to all, players who will be chosen for the beta need to fulfill certain criteria and prerequisites, such as:

    • You will need to be logged in to your HoYoverse account before starting your application.
    • You will need to be a member of the official Genshin Impact Discord server, and your DMs must be open to receive messages from the Paimon bot (if selected for the test).
    • All applicants need to be over 18 years old in order to apply.
    • All applicants need to have a Government-issued ID which is current and unexpired, such as a Driver’s License, or a Passport.

    1. Log in to your HoYoverse account.
    2. Fill up the application form with all necessary information.
    3. If you are selected, you will get a DM from the Paimon bot on your Discord account.
