Ten:07 Unicorn Pony Ultra-Compact Cargo Bike Goes Titanium: A Bespoked Preview

Ten:07 is giving their cute little ultra-compact Unicorn Pony cargo bike a titanium upgrade, creating an even better reason to add a versatile hauler to your bike garage. This adorable little workhorse is set to debut at the Bespoked custom bike show in Dresden, Germany tomorrow. But Ten:07 gave us a sneak peek!

Kicking it up a notch in titanium. “The fun-sized, highly anticipated mini cargo bike has been re-engineered in sexy titanium and equipped with Ten:07’s signature quick-release platform.

We’ve secretly loved Ten:07’s reverse mullet compact Unicorn cargo bikes for years. Since about 2022, when we first learned of their steel cargo bike frames being manufactured in the Czech Republic. With their smart removable rack platform that made it much easier to store in tight spaces than most cargo-capable bikes. It all started with the Unicorn years ago, with a pretty normal-looking 700c rear end of the frame mated to a long cargo platform over a 20″ front wheel.

But Ten:07 went ultra-compact earlier this year with a 24″ rear wheel, a 20″ wheel up front, and a short but wide platform up front. They called this one the Unicorn Pony. You ended up with a cargo bike with a wheelbase shorter than most regular bikes. Meaning overall, it’s about 20-30cm shorter than most modern road or gravel bikes. Which means you have plenty of room to store a Unicorn Pony at home.

No more excuses not to get a cargo bike!

    What carries over?

The Unicorn Pony Titanium has the same dimensions as Ten:07’s original ultra-compact Unicorn Pony. Importantly, that means the same 1-meter long wheelbase, 20″ front & 24″ rear wheels. The same 1544mm overall length and 500mm quick-release removable platform width. Take that off, and you just have to deal with handlebar width to fit this little pony in tight spaces.

You get the same easy, “quick commuter” handling and load-carrying capabilities.

    And what’s new?

But now it is in shiny titanium. Shinier, fancier, and “noticeably lighter to carry up the stairs when the ride’s done” than the steel frame version.

Never worry about scratching your cargo bike’s paint job. Never worry about rust.
