That touchback would prove fatal for Schottenheimer in hindsight, as fans tore into him for it:
“Coaching malpractice costs Dallas yet another game. Horrible clock management,” one rued.
“Run the clock, geniuses,” another raged.
“Brian Schottenheimer cannot continue coaching this team,” another insisted.

The loss spoiled a strong outing from Dak Prescott, who covered 276 yards on 25 completions and scored a touchdown and a two-point conversion. Javonte Williams and KaVontae Turpin also rushed to the end zone once each.
For the Ravens, Jackson had an elite performance, completing 75% of his 20 attempts for 186 yards and two touchdowns. Derrick Henry also rushed to the end zone twice.
