GT vs MI, IPL 2025: Match Prediction, Dream11 Team, Fantasy Cricket Tips and Pitch Report | Gujarat Titans vs Mumbai Indians

The ninth match of IPL 2025 will feature a clash between the Gujarat Titans (GT) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on March 29, 2025. Both teams are looking for their first win of the season after disappointing starts.

GT lost their opening match to Punjab Kings, falling short by 11 runs despite a strong effort from Sai Sudharsan (74 off 41) and Jos Buttler (54 off 33). Their bowling attack, led by Rashid Khan and Kagiso Rabada, struggled against a powerful PBKS batting lineup that posted 243 runs. MI faced a similar fate in their opener against Chennai Super Kings, managing only 155 runs. Despite a decent bowling performance, they lost by four wickets as CSK chased down the target with ease.

    Narendra Modi Stadium Pitch Report:

The Narendra Modi Stadium is known for its batting-friendly pitch, offering consistent bounce and facilitating high-scoring games. With an average first-innings score of 160, the surface supports batters while providing initial movement for pacers, who lose effectiveness as the game progresses. Spinners become increasingly impactful as the pitch slows down during later stages, making them crucial in the second innings. The dry and hard nature of the pitch ensures a balanced contest between batters and bowlers. Captains winning the toss typically choose to bat first to capitalize on favourable early conditions, as the pitch tends to deteriorate in the second innings.

MICT vs PR, Qualifier 1, SA20 2025: Match Prediction, Dream11 Team, Fantasy Cricket Tips & Pitch Report | MI Cape Town vs Paarl Royals

The first qualifier of the SA20 2025 will take place between the MI Cape Town and the Paarl Royals at the St. George’s Park in Gqeberha. The two teams had a remarkable record in the season with major triumphs against every opposition team in the league. While Royals had a stellar season barring the last 2 matches, Cape Town’s season developed gradually with time and the team triumphed to clinch the top-spot in the league.

    • Date and Time: February 4, 3:30 pm GMT/ 9:00 pm IST/ 5:30 pm local
    • Venue: St. George’s Park, Gqeberha

    St. George’s Park Pitch Report:

St George’s Park in Gqeberha is renowned for its unpredictable pitch conditions, which can vary dramatically from one match to another. This unpredictability was on full display during the 2024 SA20 season, where the ground saw both high-scoring thrillers, including a match that saw over 400 runs, and low-scoring contests that tested the batsmen’s skills. The venue features two distinct strips: one that typically produces high run totals, while the other offers a more challenging surface where the ball doesn’t come onto the bat as smoothly. Last season, the average first-innings score was 153, with the second innings typically being slightly lower, averaging 145, underscoring the ground’s tendency to favor more difficult, lower-scoring encounters.

  • Abhishek Sharma reveals the lucky charm for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL

Abhishek Sharma reveals the lucky charm for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL

Abhishek Sharma is a rising star known for his clean hitting and adeptness against both pace and spin. Initially positioned in the middle order, Sharma seamlessly transitioned to the top order for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL. He also contributes as a valuable left-arm spinner, often surprising batsmen with his back-spinning leg cutter. Sharma’s recent opportunity to represent India during the Zimbabwe tour saw him shine, notably scoring a blazing 100 off 47 balls in the second T20I.

Sharma on her sister’s attending match as a lucky factor

Recently, Sharma was asked about the superstitions he follows before matches. He revealed that his sister, Komal Sharma, is his biggest lucky charm both for him personally and for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Komal frequently attends his matches and was notably present in the stands throughout the recently concluded 2024 season. SRH had a memorable season, finishing as runners-up after losing to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the final.

Abhishek noted that Komal had become a lucky charm for Hyderabad, with teammates even inquiring about her attendance at matches. He also playfully mentioned Komal’s main concern when attending games: choosing the perfect outfit.

“Whenever Komal came for the matches, picking an outfit was her biggest concern. I used to tell her to wear something related to the team. The way she supported us this time, the whole team saw it and she became our lucky charm. People in Hyderabad started recognizing her and she enjoyed a lot. This was the first time that she had come to the matches, and the team reached the final. So, I think the luck factor was there. The teammates would ask me if she was coming or not for the matches.”

Abhishek Sharma turned heads with his explosive performances in IPL 2024. He emerged as SRH’s second-highest run-scorer of the season, accumulating 484 runs from 16 games at an impressive strike rate of 204.
