The Philadelphia Eagles looked like they were cruising toward an easy win on Sunday. They opened with a commanding 21-0 lead and their fans were already celebrating what felt like a routine divisional victory. But the game shifted fast, and Dallas started clawing back. Momentum flipped, the stadium tightened, and suddenly the Cowboys were the ones dictating the pace.
As Dallas found its rhythm, wide receiver George Pickens became the focal point of the comeback. He hauled in big catches, extended drives and chipped away at a lead that once felt untouchable.

By halftime the Cowboys had cut the deficit to 21-7, and from that moment the game belonged to them. Dallas outscored Philadelphia 24-0 the rest of the way in a comeback that shook up the NFC playoff picture.
Weakass Philly fans. N****s known for sandwiches.
And after the final whistle, things got even louder.
George Pickens and the Cowboys: A comeback on the field, a stir online
According to screenshots circulating online, Pickens briefly popped into the comments section of celebrity Eagles fan Gillie Da Kid’s Instagram post. His message reportedly read: “Weakass Philly fans. [Racial slurs] known for sandwiches. .” The comment didn’t last long before being deleted, but not before fans captured it.
Pickens had plenty of reason to feel confident. He finished with nine catches for 146 yards, topped 130 receiving yards in back-to-back games and delivered the key moments that flipped the matchup. His one-yard score late in the first half put Dallas on the board, and his 24-yard grab in the final minute positioned the Cowboys for Brandon Aubrey’s 42-yard game-winning field goal.
Dallas improved to 5-5-1 and handed Philadelphia a costly loss. The defeat knocked the Eagles from the NFC’s top seed to No. 2, removing the valuable postseason bye they had been holding onto. While the Cowboys are still longshots for a playoff run, their upset sent a message that resonated around the league.
Off the field, Pickens’ rise has become one of Dallas’ biggest storylines. In his first year with the Cowboys, he leads the team with 67 receptions, 1,054 yards and eight touchdowns. He’s also set to hit free agency this offseason. The Cowboys could use the franchise tag, explore a long-term extension or even consider trade options.
I’d love to be back with bro, especially [Lamb and Dak Prescott], all the guys really.
For now, Pickens says he’s waiting to see what comes next. But after Sunday’s performance, both on the field and online, he has certainly made himself the center of attention heading into the final stretch of the season.
