“I just wanted to FEEL GOOD” – Bayley says her best is yet to come; opens up about the major changes she has made

Bayley has opened up about the physical transformation she has made in the build-up to this year’s WrestleMania 42. She also revealed that her main goal was to feel good.

Bayley teamed up with Lyra Valkyria at WrestleMania 42, where the duo unsuccessfully challenged for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. The titles were won by Brie Bella and Paige, who dethroned Nia Jax and Lash Legend in a Fatal Four-Way Match also including Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.

On Instagram, Bayley opened up about the physical progress she has made over the past few weeks. She also shouted out her coach and Chad Gable, who helped them connect.

“Been working with @jayferruggia since February and the obvious goal was to look as good as I possibly can by Wrestlemania. That gave us about 10 weeks. But I made it a point on our first call that not only did I want to lose fat/build muscle, I just wanted to FEEL GOOD. (Shoutout to @wwegable for sharing Jay and connecting us no questions asked ❤️) For too long I was putting all of my energy into other things and not realizing that I forgot about myself. I look back at what should’ve been the prime of my career (winning the Royal Rumble and winning the Championship against Iyo at Mania) and it bums me out in a way. You can see in the pics that I wasn’t putting myself first. I lacked discipline and direction. Wasn’t holding myself accountable 🍷🌭. As I’ve gotten older and the longer I wrestle I’m learning the benefits of actual rest, recovery, and consistency in what I eat daily. It’s been a learning process this last year and key to these last 10 weeks. I’m far from where I want to be but I feel better than I have in a really long time. I know these next 6 weeks are really going to test me! Thank you, Jay! I truly feel that I haven’t even hit my prime yet. It sounds cheesy but I believe the best is yet to come 😎 I’m scared 😅,” wrote Bayley.

Bayley paid tribute to Damage CTRL

Damage CTRL debuted at SummerSlam 2022, led by Bayley, who recruited IYO SKY and Dakota Kai. The trio later added Kairi Sane and Asuka to their ranks and dominated for a brief period before The Role Model was betrayed by her stablemates.

On social media, the former Damage CTRL leader paid tribute to the faction, which officially disbanded in 2025. She wrote:

    “I love you Damage CTRL.”

Bayley is part of a tag team with Lyra Valkyria on Monday Night RAW. The duo lost to Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez this past Monday.
