INEOS now keeping close tabs on “unbelievable” Man Utd target who’s scored 64 PL goals

Manchester United are now battling Chelsea to sign West Ham United star Jarrod Bowen, with the forward likely to be available at a cut-price if the Hammers are relegated this season.

Man Utd eyeing Premier League attacker

INEOS’ investment has been refreshingly wise over the last 12 months. Man United didn’t just go out and spend big on the closest star name. Instead, they welcomed proven Premier League stars, who have since offered them exactly what they were missing.

Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha particularly stand out. The duo, from Brentford and Wolverhampton Wanderers, were not leading Premier League stars when they arrived at Old Trafford, although they certainly impressed outside of the top six. Now, one year later, they’ve enjoyed excellent debut seasons at Man United.

With that in mind, it’s no surprise that INEOS are aiming for a repeat. According to Fussball Daten in Germany, Man United have stormed into the race to sign Bowen in an attempt to get one over on rivals Chelsea, who are also interested.

It’s incredibly unlikely that the forward stays put at West Ham if they are relegated this weekend and that could open the door for a cut-price move for those at Old Trafford.

A player once valued at around £60m could see his value drop and the chance for a summer move straight back to the Premier League instantly increase as a result.

INEOS’ next Dorgu: Man Utd close in on personal terms with “monster” signing

Man Utd’s first signing under Michael Carrick could be close to completion.

With Champions League football set to return to Old Trafford next season, they could certainly do with the quality in-depth that Bowen would provide, plus of course his Premier League quality.

The West Ham captain has scored 64 goals in England’s top flight throughout his career and has been ready for a big move for quite some time.

“Unbelievable” Bowen could be Cunha repeat for Man Utd

With or without relegation, Bowen is someone who deserves a big move before his time in English football concludes. His goals have dragged West Ham to heights some never believed was possible and that could be rewarded by Man United when the summer transfer window swings open.

Former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was particularly a fan of the forward, telling reporters: “Bowen, what a player he became! Unbelievable. We saw him as well at Hull and he was really good at that time. I’m not sure a lot of people expected this jump, but unbelievable player.”

After he was snubbed by Thomas Tuchel and left out of England’s World Cup squad, no one would blame Bowen if he put himself first and avoided dropping down to the Championship this summer.
