    MPL Philippines S17 Playoffs: Dates, teams, MSC 2026 slots, and brackets

    The Playoffs of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 17 is scheduled to take place from May 27 to 31, 2026. The top six teams from the Regular Season will fight in the Hybrid Elimination for the trophy. The top two squads will advance to the Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2026, which will take place in take place in Paris, France.

    The Regular Season of the MPL S17 was played from March 20 to May 17, 2026. Eight teams fought against each other in Double Round Robin format. The top six squads from the overall rankings qualified for the Playoffs. The bottom two teams faced elimination from the MPL Philippines S17.

    The Playoffs will be hosted at the FilOil Centre, San Juan City, Philippines. The Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final will be conducted in Best-of-Seven (Bo7). The remaining matches will be organized in a Best-of-Five (Bo5) format. The MLBB tournament’s prize money is 150,000 US dollars.

    Playoffs bracket

    Team Liquid and Falcons have been seeded directly into the Upper Bracket Semifinals, as these teams secured their spots in the top two in the Regular Season. ONIC, Omega, Twisted Minds, and Aurora Gaming have been placed into the Play-Ins stage of the Playoffs.

    In this phase, ONIC will face Aurora in their first encounter. The winner of this game will play against Team Falcons in the UB Semifinals. Omega will fight against Twisted Minds in the Play-Ins. The winning club will compete against Team Liquid in the UB Semifinals.

    Regular Season overview

    Defending champions Team Liquid was phenomenal in the Regular Season of the MPL Philippines S17. The experienced lineup won 13 out of its 14 matches and secured first place in the leaderboard. Team Falcons also had a decent run, as the club grabbed second place with 12 wins and two losses.

    ONIC Philippines secured third place with nine wins and five losses. Omega Esports and Twisted Minds had a mediocre run in the Regular Season. They came fourth and fifth, respectively. Both teams won six matches and lost eight encounters. Aurora Gaming finished sixth with five victories and nine defeats.

    AP.Bren lost 11 of the its 14 matches and ended up in seventh place. TNC Pro came eighth with two wins and 12 losses. These bottom two Regular Season teams were eliminated from the MPL Philippines Season 17 after their disappointing performances.
