Destiny 2 Shadow & Order is all set to be released on June 9, 2026. After the unfortunate news of any further content updates getting shut down for the game, the June update will become the final piece of content, encouring longtime players to return and try everything one last time. One of those contents include new Aspects, abilities, and upgrades to those abilities across all three classes.
This article lists new Aspects, abilities, and upgrades coming in the Shadow & Order update on June 9.
List of new abilities, upgrades, and Aspects in Destiny 2: Shadow & Order
All three classes in Destiny 2 are getting new Aspects in specific elemental subclasses. Here’s what is coming with the update:
- Solar Hunters are getting an Aspect called Crackshot.
- Void Warlocks are getting an Aspect called Soul Siphon.
- Solar Titans are getting an Aspect called Shieldburst.
In terms of new abilities, the classes are getting the following abilities:
- New Hunter melee for Void Hunters called Phantom Surge.
- New Grenades for all classes including the Strand Slicewire Grenade and Stasis Shatter Grenade.
In terms of abilities, some of them are getting reworked and upgraded with the Shadow & Order update. For example, Mindspun Invocation Aspect for Warlocks will interact with Threadling Grenade, a rework is being done on Ward of Dawn, and Trapper’s Ambush will have new abilities.
Lastly for Exotics, every piece of armor earned after The Edge of Fate will be upgraded to the tiering system with respect to the post Final Shape sandbox. For weapons, however, some of the Exotics are scheduled to recieve tuning and Catalysts.
