During the interview, the defensive end talked about his rivalry with Baltimore Ravens star Lamar Jackson. He also named the two-time NFL MVP as his favorite quarterback to sack in the league. He reminisced about the game against the Ravens in November when he sacked Jackson four times
““That might have been all of the Baltimore game,” Garrett said). “Chasing Lamar’s a*s around is tough enough, but getting him four times was great. So, once I got him for the fourth time, I was like, I’m feeling myself today.”
Last season, Garrett set the single-season sack record with 23 sacks. Throughout the course of his career, he sacked Lamar Jackson 12 times.
Garrett will kick off his new journey with the Rams in a Week 1 game against the 49ers in Australia on Sept. 10.
