WWE has spoiled the identity of a returning star internally. What was previously a poorly kept secret has now been given away completely.

WWE has not been the best at keeping secrets in recent years, with most of the surprises getting leaked at one time or another. Especially with big returns, they have not been that careful, and at one time or another, most returns have been obvious by the time they happened. Now, ahead of SummerSlam, Big Cass’ return has been leaked.

WWE had aired vignettes where it had become obvious that Big Cass was one of the stars who was going to be returning after SummerSlam. Even then, they only aired silhouettes of him, so for those not in the know, there was still some mystery to the situation. The poorly shadowed vignettes left something to mystery, but even that is gone now.

Now, though, Fightful Select has revealed that internally, in the listing for tonight’s show, the vignette has been written in as Big Cass’ vignette. Thus, internally at least, the return has been completely leaked, leaving nothing to mystery or guesswork. The report has further leaked the news, so when the star does return on RAW after SummerSlam, there will be no surprise related to it.

However, there is still one question. Initially, when there were reports about a possible comeback for him, there were questions as to Enzo Amore’s return along with him. He and Enzo were a tag team during their initial run, and it appeared that they would be back together as well, as per reports. Now, though, the star’s vignettes have not featured Amore at all, indicating that Cass may be returning as a singles star, and not with Amore alongside him at all.
