The National Women’s Soccer League and Roku have agreed to expand its partnership.
According to the league, NWSL matches will be live on the Roku Sports Channel, beginning this weekend, on August 30. The league also stated that the Roku Sports Channel will be the “exclusive streaming home of eight Sunday Night matches during the remainder of the 2026 campaign, followed by an expanded package of 25 Sunday Night matches in 2027, giving fans a consistent, free destination to watch NWSL action throughout the season.”
The Roku Sports Channel is free, with no subscription required. According to the league’s press release, the “Roku Channel is available on Roku devices and TVs, TheRokuChannel.com, iOS and Android devices, Amazon Fire TV, Samsung TVs, Google TVs, and other Android TV OS devices.”
“We’re thrilled to be elevating our partnership with NWSL to include this exclusive package of Sunday Night matches, leading into and during what will be a watershed year for women’s soccer,” Joe Franzetta, Head of Sports at Roku, said. “As sports fandom is continuing to grow alongside streaming access to sports, our audience reach will bring the NWSL matches to more than half of U.S. streaming households and deepen our commitment to highlighting women’s sports.”
“As we continue to grow the NWSL’s audience, we’re focused on making it as easy as possible for fans to find and watch our matches wherever they are,” NWSL Chief Marketing Officer Rachel Epstein said. “Roku’s tremendous scale and accessibility make them an exciting partner as we bring more NWSL matches to more viewers and continue building consistent destinations for fans to engage with our league.”
The first match on the Roku Sports Channel will be Reign FC against the Houston Dash on Sunday, August 30.
