UFC star Kevin Holland recently confirmed that he was the mystery fighter that Dana White was referring to after the latest Dana White’s Contender Series episode.
The UFC CEO made a huge statement after the show claiming that a fighter had earned $11 million in his career after appearing on DWCS without challenging for a title.
Many believed that was Holland. After initially denying it, the American later confirmed that the rumors were correct about him being the $11 million man. However, ‘Trailblazer’ highlighted that he might not have seen the entire amount due to certain issues:
“Yo, it’s the $11 million dollar man, and I’m here to tell you one thing right now. Might’ve made $11 million, but I got like four kids, paying taxes, and getting divorced three times, s**** f***** up.”

Holland was one of the rising stars in the UFC at one point and won five fights in a calendar year in 2020. He won his DWCS fight in 2018 but lost his UFC debut to Thiago Santos at UFC 227.
Holland has also won several post-fight bonuses in his UFC career, and remains one of the most active fighters on the roster.
The 33-year-old’s last fight was against Randy Brown at UFC 327, where he got a unanimous decision win.
When Kevin Holland explained why he takes up so many fights
Kevin Holland also had five fights in 2025, and while he didn’t win all of them, that is still a remarkable number.
Most fighters at the top level fight once or twice a year, but Holland has always been active, and he explained why he does so.
The American was speaking after his dominant win at UFC London, and claimed his lifestyle is the reason why he has to consistently fight:
“The amount of money I make these days, I could slow down the amount of money I make these days. I could definitely slow down. But the amount of money I spend these days, I stay active.”
