Ride A Pet is a creature-collecting game where players find eggs on the map, bring them to their base, and hatch pets of various sizes and speeds. Every hatched pet begins at Age 1, and as it stays active in your base, it gains EXP naturally to reach the next Age or level. You can also give pets EXP directly by feeding them different food items purchased from the shop. Critters of higher Age possess greater earnings-per-second as well as movement speed to help you traverse the map.

Grass, Bone, Meat, Magic Apple, and Dragonfruit are the only food items. Grass is always in stock in the Food Shop, whereas the Dragonfruit is rarely available due to its Ethereal rarity. You can buy and use any number of food items on pets.

How to get food in Ride A Pet
You can buy consumables for your pets from the Food Shop. It is located at the center of the map, alongside the Track station.
The Food Shop has limited items in stock and refreshes every 2 minutes and 45 seconds. You can buy any number of them and keep them in the inventory for later use. Each item for personal purchase costs Cash, but gifting requires Robux.

How to feed a pet in Ride A Pet
To feed any pet, first equip the food item. Next, interact with the pet in your base you wish to give EXP to, or ride the critter and then interact with it. Higher-level pets possess better overall stats.
Note that pets in your hotbar cannot be fed. It is essential to place them in your base in order to give them food.
