Karrion Kross Reveals WWE Broke Major Promise to Him

Karrion Kross has revealed that WWE broke a major promise to him. This comes as a surprise because it came right after the TKO merger.

Kross had two stints in WWE and neither of them were that helpful to help launch him as a main star. During his time in NXT, he did win the NXT Championship and that was the only title he won during his time there.

After WWE merged with TKO, Kross revealed that the talent were told about getting chances in the entertainment industry. He was a guest on the The Wrestling Classic when he said:

“So, it’s crazy. Yes, I have. To answer your question directly, yes. A couple years ago, we had, like, this in-house meeting at WWE where, you know, the bosses were there, and they were talking about how the merger with TKO was going to provide, like, some sort of, like, transitionary connective tissue into getting into different types of lanes of entertainment. And I was like, ‘Oh, that’s cool.’ They were talking about the Netflix deal and all that stuff. And this was, like, an all-in meeting. Like, everybody was there from the show. We were all sitting there. It felt like a university class. We were sitting at all these little, like, tables and desks and stuff like that. I was like, ‘This is really cool.’” [H/T ITR Wrestling]

Karrion Kross says nothing happened after that

In the same interview, Karrion Kross also revealed that despite all those promises, nothing ever happened and that he was not given the chance to connect with the entertainment industry.

“And I was told to follow up in October, and I’d be flown into Los Angeles, and they’d introduce me to all these people and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And I followed up, and none of that ever happened. And then I waited a couple more months, and I followed up, and none of that ever happened.”

Karrion Kross is now a major part of Major League Wrestling where he is the current MLW World Heavyweight Champion.
