The coach of Club Len, Argentine Nicols Larcamn, joined the wave of complaints from Liga Mx players and strategists, who have expressed their disagreement with the Leagues Cup, stating that it is a tournament created to benefit MLS teams.
After losing 1-3 against Real Salt Lake, Larcamn lamented the clear benefit that MLS clubs have for playing on their terms.

“The benefit given to MLS teams, on their field, in their environment, in their climate, I would love for there to be a second match there against Len,” said the La Fiera helmsman. “We have to put on the patch and move forward. It has a clear benefit for the teams in this league (MLS)”.

Refereeing in favor of MLS, a constant complaint
The tournament, which was created for the growth and competitiveness between both leagues, has the Mexican teams at an apparent disadvantage, as they always have to play in U.S. territory, to be more specific, in the stadium where they face their MLS rival.
Another one of the most vocal complaints is the refereeing, which has apparently decided on more than one occasion against MLS clubs.
For example, in the match between Rayados de Monterrey and Portland Timbers, there was a clear handball inside the area of the team from the northwest of the United States, but it was not marked as a penalty in favor of Rayados.
