It wasn’t always pretty, and it took a fourth-quarter defensive touchdown to save the day, but the Pittsburgh Steelers pulled off a 26-22 victory over the Cleveland Browns in Week 2 on “Monday Night Football.”
The game was anything but pretty, as Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson struggled to get things going, completing just 22-of-40 passes for 235 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
Unquestionably the toughest scene of the night came when Nick Chubb suffered a brutal knee injury that networks opted not to show a replay of after it happened. Heartfelt messages from players across the sports world poured in for Chubb, and even Steelers fans chanted his name as he was carted off in a pretty incredible scene.
After the game rolled on, Steelers fans found something else to chant about as well, but this time it wasn’t such a positive vibe. Instead, they pointed their in-game frustrations at offensive coordinator Matt Canada but unloading a “Fire Canada” chant.
