Oba Femi will compete against Cody Rhodes at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. Ahead of this huge match, The Ruler has fired the first shot against his opponent.
Oba has been one of the most dominant forces ever to compete in NXT. His rise in the black and silver brand has been nothing short of phenomenal. At NXT Deadline, The Ruler became a two-time NXT Champion when he defeated Ricky Saints for the title. By doing so, he will now face Cody Rhodes at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13.
Thanks for the submission!
Tonight on NXT, The Ruler kicked off the show. He didn’t hesitate to fire the first shot at Cody Rhodes. He noted that the American Nightmare will realize that The Ruler is the present of the WWE.
“Saturday Night’s Main Event, I will stand across the ring from Cody Rhodes and he will look me in my eyes and he will not see potential, he will not see the future, he will see the now. He will see the inevitable, The Ruler, The Destroyer, The Bringer of War in all my glory, Oba Femi.”

This isn’t the first warning Oba Femi sent to Cody Rhodes
Oba Femi didn’t waste time after regaining the NXT Title at Deadline. He immediately issued a warning to Cody Rhodes.
Following his match against Ricky Saints, The Ruler issued a chilling warning to the Undisputed WWE Champion in a backstage promo.
“The biggest factor is change. Change came knocking at the door of Ricky Saints tonight, and it asked for his title. And he had no choice but to relinquish because change always wins. When change met the dinosaurs, he sent the meteor. When change met man in the Old Testament, he sent the flood. And when Change comes to the main roster asking for Cody Rhodes, he will send The Ruler, The Destroyer, The Bringer of War, Oba Femi,” he said.
It remains to be seen if Oba will be able to pick up the biggest win of his career at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
