Fans raised concerns over BTS member Kim Seok-jin’s on-screen visibility during the group’s ARIRANG World Tour concerts in Seoul. The three opening night concerts of the world tour were held at Goyang Stadium in Seoul on April 9, 11, and 12, 2026.
As per the fans on social media, the issue surfaced during performances of Like Animals, a track from BTS’ latest album ARIRANG. While the group performed the song’s outro, several attendees and online viewers noted that the large overhead screens and live camera feeds appeared to focus primarily on the other six members. According to fans, Jin received little to no individual screen time during this.
As clips from the concerts circulated online, fans began voicing their concerns across social media platforms. Many called for equal representation of all seven members during live broadcasts and in-venue screen projections. Some also directed their criticism toward the concert’s live camera direction, questioning the apparent imbalance in focus.
The discussion quickly gained traction among fans. Several posts urged the production team to ensure fair screen distribution moving forward, emphasizing the importance of showcasing all members equally during performances. One fan wrote,
“Director Ha Jung-jae, is your camera fair? SHOW JIN ON SCREEN SHOW JIN ON SCREEN There is no BTS without JIN. We will reclaim his erased credits and screen time until the end. HYBE IS NOTHING WITHOUT JIN. STOP DISCRIMINATING JIN NOW.”

Fans calling for equal screen distribution also stated that the issue extended beyond the Like Animals stage. According to several attendees and viewers, Kim Seok-jin was seen on the big screens only briefly throughout multiple segments of the concert, not just during a single performance.
Fans continued to call for equal screen time for all BTS members. Some viewers also claimed that the issue affected their overall experience, with a few stating they considered leaving the live theater screenings due to the limited on-screen presence of Jin on screen during the concert.
