NFL analyst Colin Cowherd on Sunday offered his take on the controversy around New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel and reporter Diana Russini. Vrabel and Russini, both married to other people, grabbed headlines when pictures of them together at a resort in Arizona earlier in April went viral. However, Cowherd said that mainstream media outlets didn’t speak about the issue since they were only allegations, while adding that Russini’s space is “moral and ethical,” while Vrabel’s is only “moral.”
On Wednesday, former NFL defensive end Marcellus Wiley called out Cowherd for his stance on Russini and Vrabel’s controversy.
Thanks for the submission!
“I’ve been there before, I worked there as well,” Wiley said on his “Dat Dude TV” podcast. “That’s not true, it’s not about the employers and ethical and moral and all that. It’s about Madison Avenue and the advertisers. It’s about you going out there and doing something that you’re scared could ever come back and land on you.”

Diana Russni resigns from “The Athletic” after internal investigation into controversy with Mike Vrabel

Last week, “The Athletic,” owned by The New York Times Company, sidelined Dianna Russini after launching an investigation into the nature of her relationship with Mike Vrabel. However, on Tuesday, Russini announced that she resigned from her role with the publication.
Russini and Vrabel were pictured holding hands and embracing at a boutique resort before the annual NFL owners meetings in Phoenix. However, both denied any wrongdoing.
