Ottawa Senators fans on social media expressed disappointment with captain Brady Tkachuk’s performance so far in the playoffs.
The Senators fell 2-1 to the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 3 on Thursday. Ottawa now trails the series 3-0 and sits on the brink of elimination, with a possibility of getting swept in Game 4.
Brady Tkachuk has been one of the Senators’ most underwhelming players in the series. He remains pointless through the first three games.
Here’s how fans on X (formerly called Twitter) reacted after Game 3 loss. One tweeted:
“Brady Tkachuk cannot be back next year. He is not built for the playoffs. He’s built to f***k right off. Zero f*****g points in 3 playoff games. Timmy better step it up too, or he should be moved as well. You’re not a superstar if you’re held pointless in the playoffs.”
Another chimed in:
I’m just going to say it…Brady Tkachuk has looked checked out for 90% of this season. Shown nothing in the playoffs; actually cost them with awful penalties. Body language has been off since returning from injury. Zero “we’ll be back” moments like last season.
Here are some of the other top reactions on X:
“Never wanna hear anything about Stutzle being the best player in his draft class EVER again. LOSER,” a third fan wrote.
“Brady Tkachuk. 5-3. All the time in the world and he can’t make pass,” one opined.
“Remarkable. We got swept. Cant wait to see changes this summer. THIS TEAM FUCKING SUCKS,” another chimed in.
“His last game for Sens coming up… He’ll be in Florida by the summer,” added another.
