Hubert Hurkacz and Roman Andres Burruchaga will vie against each other for the first time on the ATP Tour at the semifinal round of the ATP Challenger Cagliari. Hurkacz has an 11-10 win-loss record in 2026, including 6-2 on clay. His best result of the season was winning the 2026 United Cup final against Stan Wawrinka 6-3, 3-6, 6-3. In his last match against Matteo Berrettini, the Polish player fired eight aces and committed only two double faults. #2 Matteo Arnaldi vs Gianluca Cadenasso: ATP Challenger Cagliari

Matteo Arnaldi and Gianluca Cadenasso will also vie for the first time in their careers on Saturday. Cadenasso’s best result so far in the season was clinching the Challenger Asuncion title at 6-7(7), 0-6. He defeated the likes of Lorenzo Carboni, Mattia Belluci, and Jesper de Jong to advance to the final round.
Arnaldi fought hard battles to reach the semifinals and looks in good form as he gears up for his next. He fired seven aces in his previous faceoff, which was against Portugal’s Nuno Borges. The Italian put 61% of his first serves in and recorded 69% and 53% on his first and second serves, while committing only four double faults.
