Ravindra Jadeja, the left-arm slow orthodox spinner, once again broke a building partnership for the Sunrisers Hyderabad by dismissing Nitish Kumar Reddy. He then brought out a special celebration to celebrate his special achievement.

Rajasthan Royals had already done the trick with the bat after they put on a massive target on the board; the rest was on the bowlers to hand them a promising start. The Royals had almost won the game within the power play as the big three from the SRH batting order, Abhishek, Head, and Ishan, were back into the dugout.

Ravindra Jadeja celebrates in unique ‘Pushpa’ style after Nitish Kumar Reddy’s timely dismissal

The Rajasthan Royals are a very balanced side this season, and the impact players rule has often contributed to the increasing stability for any side. Hence, even Ravindra Jadeja was used much later in the innings as the sixth bowling option.

Just when Nitish Kumar Reddy had started to find the balls hitting the middle of his bat, Riyan Parag called in his master craftsman. Jadeja deceived Reddy through the air, and the all-rounder was caught off his bowling.

Following his dismissal, which ended SRH’s thinnest of hopes, Jadeja brought out the special ‘Pushpa’ celebration from his pockets as he gave him a sporting send off. The Royals also posted it on their X handle and captioned the post as “Fire nahi… 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞 hai Jadeja.”

Jofra Archer dismissed the SRH top 3 while RR spinners break through their middle-order

Rajasthan Royals legendary paceman Jofra Archer had single-handedly won it for them against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. He dismissed the top three batters in the Sunrisers batting order. Archer dismissed Abhishek Sharma in his first over for a duck.

He returned with the ball in the second over only to dismiss Ishan Kishan, and then he got rid of Travis Head with a high-paced delivery in his third over of the spell. He dismissed the top three batters in the Sunrisers attack.

RR spinners Yash Raj Punja and Ravindra Jadeja picked the wickets of Heinrich Klaasen, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Salil Arora to end every hope for the Sunrisers and the slightest of their chances to make it to the Second Qualifier.

Ravindra Jadeja would eye second IPL title with RR following his much-discussed comeback

Jadeja represented the Rajasthan Royals back in 2008 when they won the first-ever season of the IPL. He then represented the Chennai Super Kings for over a decade and won three titles with them between 2018 and 2023.

He is now looking forward to achieving his fifth IPL title as a player, and the Rajasthan Royals seem to have got back their lucky charm as they are inching closer to a massive second title in this season of the IPL.

The Royals have played just one final since their triumph in 2008, and if they win Qualifier 2, then they will enter their third IPL final. This would also be Riyan Parag’s first-ever IPL knockout win in the Eliminator, and if they reach the finals, then it would be Parag’s first-ever final as the captain of the side.
