    Blockbuster feud in the works for WWE star Dominik Mysterio

    WWE star Dominik Mysterio could already be looking at his next opponent. The Judgment Day member is the current AAA Mega Champion.

    Mysterio won the title after defeating El Hijo del Vikingo at Worlds Collide: Las Vegas on September 12, 2025. Since then, “Dirty” Dom has managed to hold on to the title, taking down challengers like Dragon Lee, Vikingo, and “The Original” El Grande Americano. This week at AAA Noche De Los Grandes, there was a major turn of events as El Grande Americano defeated “Original” El Grande Americano in a mask vs. mask match. After the match, Original El Grande unmasked and revealed himself to be none other than former Alpha Academy leader Chad Gable. The star also cut an emotional promo in front of the fans and his family.

    In the aftermath of AAA Noche De Los Grandes, popular wrestling Twitter handle WRKD Wrestling has suggested that El Grande Americano may possibly turn his focus on the AAA Mega Championship now, putting him in the crosshairs of Judgment Day member and current title holder, Dominik Mysterio. The two had earlier teamed up at AAA Alianzas against Dragon Lee and El Hijo del Vikingo. Since then, El Grande has become a fan favorite, making him a top contender for the biggest prize in the company.

    Dominik Mysterio is not happy with changes at AAA

    The reigning AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio was irate after his father, wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, was recently appointed as the new General Manager of the promotion. Rey Mysterio is a wrestling icon with a career spanning over two decades, having worked in major promotions like WCW and WWE.

    Last week, company president Marcela Peña announced that Rey would be the new General Manager. She wanted somebody with leadership skills and a vision for the future to head the promotion as its new GM. This announcement drew the ire of Dominik Mysterio. As cameras panned backstage, Mysterio was visibly frustrated with his father’s new position and walked out of the shot.

    This week, Mysterio was on commentray for Noche De Los Grandes and even headed to the ring for the announcements before the main event.
