Will this be the biggest Women’s World Cup yet?

The 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup will be its tenth edition. The tournament is in prime position to capitalize on the forward momentum women’s soccer has experienced this decade.

U.S. Women’s National Team coach Emma Hayes appeared on the A Touch More podcast with Megan Rapinoe on June 18. When asked about the potential for the 2027 World Cup, Hayes asserted “it’s clearly a billion dollar business.”
