    Lynx guard Olivia Miles continues to build ROY case in win over Storm

    Rookie guard Olivia Miles had another impressive performance on Saturday as the red-hot Minnesota Lynx won their seventh consecutive game.

    The No. 2 overall pick of the 2026 WNBA Draft had 19 points on 9-of-14 shooting, six rebounds and six assists in the 88-68 home victory over the Seattle Storm, further distancing herself in the Rookie of the Year race at the season’s quarter mark.

    Following Saturday, Miles is averaging 17.2 points, five rebounds and 6.4 assists per game this season. She’s been an impressive, seamless fit in a veteran-heavy Lynx starting lineup. Everyone else in the rotation is at least 30, but Miles has never appeared out of her element, demonstrating impressive confidence and maturity for a player her age.

    Early, she got Minnesota on the board with he team trailing, 6-0, 90 seconds into the game, with an attacking basket on a pick-and-roll, driving against Storm center Stefanie Dolson for a layup off the glass.
