Lyra Valkyria claimed she was a major WWE Superstar’s best friend today on social media. The former Women’s Intercontinental Champion is scheduled to compete in a marquee title match next week on RAW in London.

Valkyria is in a tag team with Bayley, and the popular duo will be competing for the Women’s Tag Team Championships next week on the red brand. Ahead of the title match on WWE RAW next week, Lyra Valkyria claimed that she was The Role Model’s best friend and that her birthday yesterday was the best one of her life so far.

“Things are finally LOOKING UP! Am I the best friend and tag partner or what! Best @itsBayleyWWE birthday ever!” wrote Valkyria.

Bayley also taunted Paige today on social media ahead of the Women’s Tag Team Championship match next week. Paige spent the past few years performing as Saraya in All Elite Wrestling before her surprise return at WrestleMania 42 in April.

So I don’t know, it all happened so fast, and it goes by in the blink of an eye. So I’m really just kind of grateful and excited and happy with where I’m at, and especially with how fast everything has happened so far. I have no idea where it means we might be in six months, in a year, you know? So it’s kind of just trying to hold on to the roller coaster as long as I can,” she said. (H/T: WrestlePurists)
