The global premiere for Virat Kohli‘s lifestyle and sports brand One8 was held at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in New Delhi on Sunday, June 21. According to reports, around 5,000 people gathered at the venue for the high-profile launch.
The star-studded event included guests like tech influencer Gaurav Chaudhary and entrepreneurs such as Ghazal Alagh, Varun Alagh, Peyush Goyal, and Deepinder Goyal. The One8 Global Premiere also saw a live performance by Punjabi music sensation Karan Aujla.
Jitesh Sharma, Prasidh Krishna, and Pratika Rawal were among the Indian cricketers who attended the brand launch. Kohli was the center of attention throughout the evening as he unveiled his new brand.

#5 Virat Kohli’s hilarious reaction amid photo session with Karan Aujla
Virat Kohli and Karan Aujla featured together in a photo session during the evening. The duo struck different poses in front of the cameras. The photographer gave them a few instructions for the photographs.
The ace batter cheekily commented that he was a cricketer and posing for pictures was not his forte. Kohli was heard saying in a clip posted on social media:
“Main to cricket khelta hoon. (I play cricket)”
Kohli and Aujla’s meeting was among the big talking points of the event. The two superstars of their respective professions shook hands and hugged, making it a memorable moment for their fans.

Virat Kohli’s unbeaten 82 off 52 balls against Pakistan at the T20 World Cup 2022 is etched in the memories of fans. He showcased tremendous composure under pressure and helped India chase down a tricky 160-run target in Melbourne.
The former India captain spoke about the magnificent knock after a question from host Danish Sait. The 37-year-old emphasized that he thrives on getting his team out of difficult situations and snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. He remarked:
“I am made this way. I almost crave situations where people feel like it’s gone, and then somehow you can manage to pull the game back. That’s just how I look at the situations, from a very young age, and I’ve never stopped believing right till the very end that the game is lost or we can’t win. And some magical things have happened.”
The highlight of Kohli’s match-winning knock was his stunning straight six off Haris Rauf‘s bowling in the penultimate over. It later became ICC’s Shot of the Century.
#3 Virat Kohli gives a blunt verdict on Test return
Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket on May 12, 2025. The move shocked many fans, given that the star cricketer has a soft corner for red-ball cricket. His love for the format extended to the One8 brand, as he priced his SEAM XVIII Signature – Test Red sneaker at 9,230, matching his Test runs.
Danish Sait cheekily asked Kohli if he would consider making a comeback to Test cricket, as it would allow him to increase the price of the shoe. Clarifying that there wasn’t any chance of a comeback, Kohli said:
“I’d rather undersell. I’m done with it.”
#2 Virat Kohli makes a grand entry at One8 Global Premiere
Virat Kohli entered the stage in style. A special clip of Kohli’s Test journey played on the big screen before he appeared on the stage. The fans in attendance went berserk on seeing their favorite cricketer.

Kohli was dressed in a black T-shirt and olive green pants for the event. He came out to the stage with massive cheers from the crowd, with many fans taking out their mobile phones to capture the moment.
#1 Karan Aujla dedicates ‘Winning Speech’ to Virat Kohli
Towards the end of his performance, Karan Aujla urged the fans to cheer for Virat Kohli so that he would come on stage. The crowd erupted as the champion cricketer obliged to the demand.

Meanwhile, Kohli is expected to return to cricketing action next month during India’s three-match away ODI series against England. He missed the recently concluded home series against Afghanistan due to a hamstring injury.
