Pinarello, Pharrell, & Louis Vuitton made a 7.3kg DOGMA F for the Fashion Week Peloton

Do you love celebrities and luxury bag manufacturers? Me neither – but here we are with a new Pinarello DOGMA F, sort of.

This one is not headed to your local group ride unless your local group ride starts at Paris Fashion Week and ends somewhere between that Louis Vuitton trunk store in Paris.

    Pinarello x Louis Vuitton

The new Pinarello x Louis Vuitton bicycle, designed under the creative direction of Pharrell Williams, debuted at the Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring-Summer 2027 Show in Paris.

It’s based on the current Pinarello DOGMA F, dressed in custom Louis Vuitton colors, finished with leather, chrome, Princeton CarbonWorks wheels, Dura-Ace Di2, CeramicSpeed bits, and enough fashion-house energy to make you sick to the stomach.

Is it a race bike? Technically, yes.

    Fit Enough For Fashion Week

Under the shine and leather, the bike is built from Pinarello’s flagship DOGMA F platform. That means the frame uses TorayCa M40X carbon fiber, the same high-end material used in Pinarello’s top race machine.

DOGMA is a sacred name that carries significant weight in the cycling world. Pinarello has amassed 30 overall Grand Tour victories, including 15 Tour de France wins, which is the kind of trophy cabinet most brands would turn into a museum and charge admission for.

Then Louis Vuitton got involved, but why?

That might have something to do with Pinerello’s majority stakeholders and Bernard Arnault. He’s the chairman and chief executive officer of LVMH (an abbreviation for Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy), the world’s largest luxury goods company – just so we’re clear.

But, if you’re the CEO of a few luxury goods manufacturers, it might be cool to do a crossover product, and this is it.

    The Build Goes Hard

The funny thing is, under the fashion-show finish, the spec is no joke.

The bike uses Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 R9200, so shifting is handled by Shimano’s top 12-speed electronic group. Wheels are Princeton CarbonWorks Mach 7580 TSV2, finished in a custom Louis Vuitton signature colorway. Tires are Continental Grand Prix 5000 S TR, even though this bike only saw the shoulder of the model tasked with caring for it.

CeramicSpeed gets involved with an OSPW Aero System in an exclusive chrome finish, because if you’re already doing chrome fork legs and leather contact points, you may as well let the oversized pulley cage join the jewelry department.

Claimed complete bike weight is 7.3kg.

That is heavier than many dream DOGMA builds, sure, but also not absurd considering the extra finishing, leather, chrome bits, and deep Princeton wheels.

    Pinarello & Pharrell Williams shouldering
I bet he’s wishing for a CROSSISTA after shouldering an aerobike for a while on the runway.

    Pharrell’s DOGMA?

Pharrell Williams, Louis Vuitton Men’s Creative Director, presented the bike as a blend of elite cycling engineering and luxury craftsmanship.

Fashion has been circling cycling harder over the last few years. High-end brands love the shape of the road bike: clean lines, expensive materials, technical language, speed, performance, exclusivity, and plenty of surfaces for tasteful branding.

Cycling also has its own built-in luxury culture, whether we admit it or not. We already obsess over carbon layups, ceramic bearings, titanium hardware, limited paint, custom builds, and ungodly pricing.

So maybe this collab is not as strange as it sounds.

Will You Be Able to Buy It?

Yes, sort of. Pinarello says the bike will be integrated into Louis Vuitton’s collection of “exceptional creations” and offered exclusively through Louis Vuitton.

That means this won’t be hanging at your local Pinarello dealer next to the F-Series bikes.

No price was listed in the release, which feels very on-brand because, if you have to ask…
