Happy 26th birthday to four-year NFL veteran and New Orleans Saints WR1, Chris Olave!
Olave was selected with the 11th-overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Ohio State, and he has been productive from Day 1. He has three 1,000-yard campaigns in his first four professional seasons, only failing to reach the milestone in 2024 when he missed nine games with a concussion. Despite a rough year all-around for the Saints in 2025, the good news was that Olave returned to play 16 games and posted career-highs in receptions (100), receiving yards (1,163) and touchdowns (9).
The bad news is he missed the final game with a blood clot in his lung, and hasn’t participated in any physical team activities this offseason. But according to Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football, Olave is set to come off of blood thinners on June 29 “everything to this point is going exactly as planned.”
