    27-year-old star calls out WWE

A popular WWE NXT star called out the Stamford-based promotion before a major show. She claimed that she should have been on the card.

In the main event of The Great American Bash, Kendal Grey challenged Lola Vice for the NXT Women’s Championship. The two stars traded blows in arguably the best match of the night. Former NXT North American Champion Kelani Jordan tried to interfere and cost the challenger the bout. However, Grey’s tag team partner Wren Sinclair showed up to fight the 27-year-old off, ensuring a fair contest that ended with Kendal Grey securing the win to become the new champion.

Heading into the show, Kelani Jordan posted a reel on Instagram, pointing out that she still hasn’t got the opportunity to challenge for the WWE NXT Women’s Championship. She further called out WWE by using photos from her matches with Vice and Grey, in which she defeated them, to claim that not only should she have been in the match, but she should’ve also been the champion.

You can check out the reel she shared below:

It must, however, be noted that Kendal Grey earned her shot at the WWE NXT Women’s Championship by defeating Kelani Jordan on the June 9 edition of the show. Similarly, despite losing one match against Jordan, Lola Vice has also defeated her twice during their feud earlier this year. So, The Standout’s Instagram post appears to be a classic case of a heel trying to get closer to the gold.

Kelani Jordan made a massive claim on WWE NXT

As stated earlier in the article, Kelani Jordan defeated Kendal Grey on NXT. It happened on the May 12 edition of the show. The following week, she cut an intense promo and made a massive claim.

Kelani Jordan stated that she did not get enough credit for being the fastest homegrown talent in the company. The NXT star pointed out she defeated Kendal Grey the previous week. Jordan further claimed that she was better than all the women who recently got called up to the main roster.

“Can somebody tell me what a girl has to do around here? I walked through those Performance Center doors and in nine months, I was the main player on NXT. Which makes me the fastest homegrown talent in all of WWE. Last week, I beat Kendal Grey. Mind you, someone that you guys think should already be in the Hall of Fame. So I’m gonna tell it like it is. I’m better than all those women they called up to RAW and SmackDown. I’m better than Fatal Influence. I’m better than Blake Monroe. I’m better than Sol Ruca. I’m better than any woman sitting in the back listening right now,” Jordan said.

Kelani Jordan has been an integral part of the NXT roster for some time now. It will be interesting to see what plans the company has for her going forward.
