The round of 16 at the 2026 World Cup is officially set.
Colombia secured the last remaining berth in the next knockout stage with a 1-0 victory over Ghana on Friday.
Jhon Arias’ close-range finish in the 14th minute was the lone goal of the match in Kansas City. Los Cafeteros failed to capitalize on several other opportunities, but the Black Stars couldn’t make Colombia pay for that profligacy in front of goal.
Colombia, which has conceded just once in four matches at this summer’s tournament, will now take on Switzerland in the last 16.
