Brock Lesnar steps inside Hell in a Cell against Oba Femi this weekend at SummerSlam, and it seems that there could be a lot more than just pride riding on this match.
Femi threw away a World title opportunity to face Brock Lesnar one more time after his loss at Clash in Italy, but there is a belief that this could be The Beast’s final match.
Thanks for the submission!
WWE legend Mark Henry recently spoke about the match to Casino.org, where he claimed that Oba Femi would retire Lesnar at SummerSlam.
“I would think that this would be Oba Femi’s coming out party. Brock has served a lot of time and done a lot of good in the pro wrestling world, so there’s no need for him to take any punishment, but I think Oba Femi beats him at SummerSlam. I think Brock will retire after the event. I think that this is it for him.” He claimed.
It seems that this is a common theory among WWE fans heading into the event after Lesnar tried to retire at WrestleMania 42, only to return and continue his story with Femi a few weeks later.
Lesnar has links to Minneapolis, and many believe it would be the perfect place for him to bow out and hang up his boots.
Brock Lesnar could have a busy WWE week ahead of him
Brock Lesnar has an interesting WWE schedule, but it seems he could be busy this week, as he is expected to be on RAW tonight and at SummerSlam this weekend.
Ahead of tonight’s show, it has already been announced that Triple H will be in attendance to oversee the weigh-in between Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar. In real UFC fashion, it seems that WWE is going to allow the two men to have a weigh-in before they step inside Hell in a Cell this weekend.
This appears to be a creative reason to get both men in the ring at the same time for one final time before SummerSlam, and it is expected to end in a massive brawl, in true WWE fashion.
