They crushed Leganes 4-1 on July 28, which was their fourth win in a row from last season. Two more friendlies are scheduled for Los Blancos, against Deportivo on August 12 and against German side Schalke on August 16, before the new La Liga season kicks off.
Los Blancos are undergoing some restructuring following their underwhelming second-place finish in the Spanish top flight and a disappointing performance in the UEFA Champions League last season. With the return of Jose Mourinho, fans are expecting an improved campaign, as opposed to the previous season. Solid preparation is mandatory.
