A Shop for Killers season 2′s episode 5 opens with Kusanagi showing Q footage from J’s body camera that has been altered to make it appear Jeong Jin-man killed J. Q mourns her brother, vows revenge on Jin-man.
Meanwhile, Ji-an wakes up in the hospital after being rescued. Kim Jae-won gives her a new identity as Lee Ye-na and claims Jin-man has left, although he is secretly outside her room. Ji-an refuses the identity and later repeats Jae-won’s fabricated story to the police that their boat struck a reef and Woo-jin has been swept away.

Back in the village, Ji-an visits Woo-jin’s memorial but cannot enter. An grandmother from the village comforts her and urges her to keep living.
Ji-an later arrives at Jin-man‘s new headquarters, where she reunites with Brother, Min-hye, Jin-woo, and Cheol-seung. Jin-man prepares a room resembling their old home and asks the team to remove hidden cameras from her room before she discovers it.
On the other hand, during a meeting with Babylon executives, Kusanagi gets an order to recover the server and eliminate Jin-man before rewarding her with control of Babylon Korea and Murthehelp. Later Jin-man decides Ji-an should move to a safe house, but she insists on proving she can protect herself.
Ji-an asks retired Code Red member Ahn Seong-beom to convince the others to help them. Although she reveals Babylon has continued monitoring former operatives, Seong-beom refuses.
Over the following days, Ji-an trains in combat, firearms, Murthehelp’s operations, and its technology. Cheol-seung gives her his lucky clover keychain, and Brother later shows her a hidden escape tunnel that can destroy the shopping mall during an emergency.

Soon afterwards, Attorney Jang arranges negotiations between Murthehelp and Babylon. Ji-an introduces herself to Kusanagi as Murthehelp’s new CEO and offers Babylon a partnership in exchange for sparing Jin-man’s life.
She reveals explosives surrounding the server and a biometric device that will trigger them if she dies. Kusanagi then discovers Jin-man, Seong-beom, and the Code Reds aiming rifles at her from nearby rooftops.
Seong-beom explains he has joined them because he owed Ji-an for abandoning her before. Left with little choice, Kusanagi accepts the deal by taking the truck’s keys.
Later, Ji-an proposes creating Code Blue for transportation duties and renaming the core team Code Green because they are now a family. Their celebration ends when Jin-man receives a distress call from Pasin about his son.
Unaware of that truth, Jin-man tells Ji-an their mole inside Babylon has located Atti and warns her once again to save what she can if everything goes wrong. Jin-man travels to Thailand, follows Pasin’s clues to an internet café where he is attacked by a group of Babylon’s people.

Though he defeats several attackers, he is eventually captured. However, he soon defeats his captors, forces him to reveal Atti’s location. He then kills him and escapes.
However, Kusanagi has secretly captured and tortured Pasin and his ill son Atti, one month earlier in Thailand. Kusanagi tortures him, shot him, and secretly implants a tracking device inside his body before sending him away.
A wounded Pasin later reaches Murthehelp. Pasin tells the team Jin-man has instructed him to come to South Korea using information from the mole. However he is secretly working for Kusanagi who has blackmailed him with Atti.
While touring Murthehelp, Pasin has receives a necklace containing a hidden camera from a Babylon operative. The device allows Babylon to map the entire building. Pasin also insists on rescuing Atti and takes Min-hye with him. Instead, he betrays her by forcing her car off a bridge and shooting at her, sending her into the water.
At the same time, Q prepares to attack Murthehelp to capture Ji-an. Kusanagi orders Q to kill Pasin once Ji-an is secured while K reveals his hackers intercepted Jin-man’s communications with the mole.

Meanwhile inside Murthehelp, when Cheol-seung receives an email, Ji-an notices a missing hidden mark in the subject line. The real mole’s coded message warns that Pasin may have become a double agent.
As they learnd this, Pasin attacks Murthehelp, injects Ji-an with a drug, and overpowers Cheol-seung. Ji-an manages to counter the drug with antidote, but Pasin hacks into the system, allowing Babylon to disable Murthehelp’s security. He then shoots Brother in the leg and captures Ji-an.
The episode 6 of A Shop for Killers ends with Kusanagi secretly meeting Seong-beom and shaking his hand.
