    “Not anymore” – 38-year-old Star Announces WWE Departure

    WWE has had a major overhaul in the last few months, with many on-screen talents and backstage staff leaving the company. Another name has now been added to the list, as Tyler Breeze recently confirmed that he’s no longer part of the global juggernaut.

    Tyler Breeze was a part of the Stamford-based promotion for over a decade. He joined the company in 2010 and competed in numerous matches before being released in 2021. The 38-year-old returned to WWE in 2022, after which he worked various backstage roles in the company. He even made a surprise television appearance on NXT last year, challenging NXT North American Champion Ethan Page for the title at NXT Homecoming. However, he fell short against Page in what was his first match for the global juggernaut in over 4 years.

    It was noted that Tyler Breeze was under a WWE contract that allowed him to take indie bookings. However, the former NXT Tag Team Champion has confirmed via a series of posts on X that he’s no longer a part of the company.

    Tyler Breeze has teased aligning with former WWE stars in AEW

    Tyler Breeze was a part of the DaParty faction, which also consisted of Xavier Woods (Austin Creed), Cesaro (Claudio Castagnoli), and Adam Cole. The faction was formed on Woods’ UpUpDownDown YouTube channel, and they used to play games together. However, with Woods, Cesaro, and Cole now in AEW, Breeze also recently teased aligning with the trio to reform the faction.

    Xavier Woods departed the Stamford-based promotion after WrestleMania 42 along with Kofi Kingston. The duo (dubbed New Level) made their AEW debut at the recently concluded All In event, where they joined forces with Swerve Strickland to win the AEW World Trios Title.

    Adam Cole and Claudio have been part of Tony Khan’s promotion for the last few years. While The Swiss Superman is currently a part of the Death Riders faction, Cole has been on the sidelines for nearly a year. There is still no word on whether he’ll ever make his in-ring return. However, the four stars can still reunite to do something similar to DaParty in AEW.
