Texans expected to be without Nico Collins in Week 2

Despite allowing 36 points in Week 1, the Houston Texans had a lot to look forward to heading into Week 2.

The offense put up 31 points and a big reason for that was the steady and consistent connection between quarterback C.J. Stroud and star wide receiver Nico Collins.

Houston got bad news about Collins, though, as it seems he won’t be able to take the field in Week 2.

Nico Collins is not expected to play

According to Texans insider Aaron Wilson, Collins did not participate in practice Friday, and he is expected to be out of action on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Collins reportedly suffered a Grade 1 hamstring strain during Wednesday’s practice, and it appears that will now likely cause him to miss at least one game if not more.
