“I’m actually really disappointed in myself” – Released WWE Superstar shares major admission

A former WWE Superstar made a major admission about her time in the Stamford-based promotion. She revealed what she should have done differently.

While answering a question from a wrestling fan in a recent video on her YouTube channel, Zoey Stark admitted that she was very disappointed in herself for not being able to show her true personality in WWE. The 32-year-old noted that she had several opportunities where she should have done so.

The former WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion stated that talking in front of a camera and millions of people was hard. It was why she started a video series on YouTube, as it could help her practice and show her real personality to the world. She added that TNA was allowing her to be true to herself, and her biggest goal was to have fun out there.

“Yeah, yeah, I am. I’m actually really disappointed in myself because there were a lot of moments and opportunities where I could have and should have shown my true personality, but I didn’t. Which is honestly why I’m doing this video series now is one, to show the world the personality of what I have and what I can do. It’s hard to talk in front of the camera. It’s hard to talk in front of millions of people. But this is a good way for me, one, to practice, and two, for all of you to get to know me personally and who I am, and I get this opportunity now with TNA. TNA is allowing me to be true to who I am and show what I can do and just have fun, and that’s my number one goal, right? This is a whole new rebirth for me. Zoey Stark’s last match for the global juggernaut was on the May 19, 2025, edition of Monday Night RAW, as she competed with Rhea Ripley and Kairi Sane for a spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Unfortunately, she sustained a devastating knee injury during the bout that forced her out of action for months.

Before she could make her return to WWE programming, Zoey Stark was released from the company. She was one of the stars let go after WrestleMania 42.

Former WWE Superstar Zoey Stark is currently signed to TNA

Zoey Stark made her return to the squared circle soon after the expiration of her non-compete clause at a Revolution Pro Wrestling event. She wrestled Zeuxis in the Women’s Grand Prix First Round as Zoey Serrano.

She made her return to TNA Wrestling as Zoey Serrano in August and attacked former WWE NXT Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell. The former Pure Fusion Collective member has so far wrestled two matches for the promotion.

Only time will tell what the future holds for Zoey Serrano.
