Many Aion 2 players have been asking if it’s possible to change your channel in-game. A channel is an instance of the game, and by changing the channel, you can jump to an instance of the game with fewer players. Whether it’s avoiding toxic players, or simply so you can farm resources a little bit easier, it was a staple in Aion 1/Classic as something players could do if they needed.
While this could change sometime in the future, right now, there’s no way players can change their channel in Aion 2. In Aion 1, players could just access it in their settings, but that’s not the case here.
Is it possible to change your channel in Aion 2?
Unfortunately, at this time it’s not possible to change channels in Aion 2. The previous method, used in Aion 1/Aion Classic simply doesn’t exist in this game’s settings. This is likely due to the seamless nature of the world, and the lack of loading screens in NC’s latest MMORPG.
In the Classic version, you were able to jump instances by going to the Game Menu, selecting Support, and then using Change Channel, but that’s not something that you can do here. There’s a possibility that layering or channel changing could come to the game, but that’s not anything that we’ve heard of at this time.
With no channel change, how to secure resource extraction points in Aion 2?

One of the main reasons for channel changing is to farm resources, but that’s really not been a very difficult task in Aion 2. Resource nodes seem to respawn pretty quickly, and if you just pick up a few skills in the Essence Extraction menu, you can see the nodes on your mini-map.
Just pick any of the “Seeker” skills in that menu, and you’ll see nodes on the mini-map. This will make it a bit easier to find and scoop up valuable crafting resources as you progress through the world and its many regions.
