Marvin Harrison Jr.’s tenure with the Arizona Cardinals appears to be failing, but he might have the chance to resurrect his career in a fitting place.
The Indianapolis Colts are among teams that have checked in on Harrison’s availability in a trade, according to Josh Weinfuss and Stephen Holder of ESPN. So far, the Cardinals have given no indication that they are shopping Harrison or are eager to trade him.
Harrison Jr. is, of course, the son of legendary Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison. The team has a need at wide receiver due to Alec Pierce’s injury, but how much they would give up to land Harrison Jr. is a fair question.
Much was expected of the 24-year-old wide receiver when the Cardinals drafted him fourth overall in the 2024 NFL Draft. He has not lived up to expectations, and has just five catches for 85 yards so far this season. He only has 1,578 receiving yards over parts of three seasons to date.
The lack of production has ensured that Harrison’s name is coming up frequently in trade rumors. The Cardinals have some decisions to make ahead of the Nov. 10 deadline.
