Skulker in ARC Raiders was introduced to players with the Frozen Trail update. Unlike others like Hydra and Bully, this one is relatively small. However, this mechanical menace is just as troublesome if you don’t deal with it immediately. Furthermore, spotting one can be a little difficult due to the ARC’s size.
In this article, we will be discussing how you can effectively defeat a Skulker in ARC Raiders.
Skulker in ARC Raiders: Weak point and strategy
Skulker in ARC Raiders is a compact, wheeled machine. Due to its small size, this ARC can move exceptionally fast and can be lethal if not taken care of immediately. Skulker has one weak point, which is its wheels. The way to beat this mechanical menace is to shoot its wheels. If you do so, you will immobilize the enemy too. Hence, you can just stay in one spot and keep shooting the ARC.

To defeat a Skulker on Topside, we recommend bringing a precision weapon such as Anvil, Renegade, or Osprey. Then, shoot the wheels of this small ARC enemy to immobilize and potentially defeat it. The best time to do so is when it’s staying still while aiming at the target.
Depending on the weapon, you’ll need one to two bullets to destroy a wheel. When you break two wheels, Skulker won’t be able to move anywhere. Then, just shoot the mechanical menace a couple of times to defeat it.
Keep in mind that you must keep moving to avoid its burst attack, since it can deal a significant amount of damage. You can simply destroy its scorpion-like rifle as well.
Skulker in ARC Raiders: rewards for defeating it

Upon defeating a Skulker, you have a chance of getting a Skulker Targeter in ARC Raiders. It is an Uncommon item that can also be used as a consumable. Once placed, it will shoot anything within its effective radius, including other ARCs. If you have some at your disposal, Skulker Targeter is the perfect item for an ambush. However, one must stand in front of it. Otherwise, it won’t activate.
Besides ambushing, you can place a couple of these near an extract or anywhere as a defensive measure, since one is not very effective.
