    WWE Superstars are gearing up for the first-ever premium live event in Italy. Meanwhile, a male star provided a rare update and credited his other half for it.

    Earlier this year, Matt Cardona signed a new deal with the Stamford-based promotion and joined Friday Night SmackDown. The veteran got the opportunity to travel the world alongside his wife, Chelsea Green. The Hot Mess was already on the blue brand, and the couple continues to create content on social media when they’re not on the weekly product.

    In a minivlog, the former Intercontinental Champion shared a rare update that he’s getting Botox. However, it wasn’t his idea, as his real-life wife, Chelsea Green, was the one who encouraged him to get on. The two had a funny back-and-forth banter over the procedure, which he showed in the end.

    “My wife Chelsea Green thinks I’m ugly. So, she’s making me get botox today for the first time. Thanks, babe,” Cardona said.

    Earlier this year, Matt Cardona made his return to the Stamford-based promotion under the new regime. After a few sporadic appearances, the new management offered him a new deal, and Cardona joined Friday Night SmackDown. Initially, he teased going after Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

    Later, he competed for the United States Championship and lost. Sadly, the veteran didn’t get to compete at WrestleMania 42. Unfortunately, Chelsea Green has also been going through a rough patch in her career. Earlier this year, she was a double champion in the promotion.

    She lost the Women’s United States Championship to Giulia and eventually suffered an ankle injury, which has kept her out of action for months. Similar to Cardona, she too wasn’t on the card for WrestleMania 42, and hasn’t returned to in-ring competition for WWE or AAA.

    After WrestleMania 42, Cardona lost a singles match to Ricky Saints and defeated Nathan Frazer on Main Event. Meanwhile, The Hot Mess is trying to form an alliance with Tiffany Stratton on the blue brand in Piper Niven’s absence from the product.
