However, a rumor on X suggests that San Antonio will walk out as the champions. On Saturday, Poilymarket Hoops shared a picture on their X account featuring a Spurs West champions shirt.

The X account claimed the picture was a leak, causing a stir in the community. However, it is nothing more than the league taking advance steps to facilitate whichever team ends up winning the decisive game.
Following a win, the winning team generally celebrated their victory with a champagne shower and T-shirts bearing their name as the champions. So the clothing could be nothing more than shirts the league sent to San Antonio in case they close the series in the next game.
A similar T-shirt with Thunder’s colours and graphics must have been provided to the OKC in advance.
“They make them for both teams. I seen the wolves one couple years back,” one fan said.
“And OKC has em too, let’s not make something outta nothing,” another fan said.

Orlando Magic poach Spurs coach before Game 7 vs. the Thunder
The Orlando Magic went after San Antonio’s assistant coach Sean Sweeney while the Spurs’ season had yet to come to an end. On Friday, ESPN’s Shams Charania covered the news in an article.
“The Orlando Magic are finalizing a deal to hire San Antonio Spurs associate head coach Sean Sweeney as the franchise’s new head coach, sources told ESPN on Friday,” he wrote. “Sweeney will finish the remainder of the postseason on the Spurs’ bench, including Game 7 of the Western Conference finals.”
Sweeney has been responsible for running San Antonio’s defense under Mitch Johnson. He has done an excellent job in his role, as the Silver and Black were one of the best defensive teams this season with a defensive rating of 111.3.
The assistant coach has been in the league since 2011. He has worked with elite talent like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Luka Doncic as a member of the coaching staff for the Bucks and Mavericks, respectively.
