India Women face thrashing defeat Bristol
After winning the first match of the series against England, they bounced back in the second game. India was supposed to chase a score of 169 runs, which seemed a very gettable total for the Women in Blue.
Smriti Mandhana and Shefali Verma handed them a good start, while last match’s hero Yastika Bhatia missed out this time. Despite Harmanpreet Kaur’s fine start, she could not take India over the line.
The middle and lower order could not help India in the death overs as India Women lost the match by a massive margin of 26 runs.
