When the Golden State Warriors drafted Jonathan Kuminga with the seventh-overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, the hope was he’d learn from Steph Curry and Co. and develop into the next great Warrior.
Now, he’s signing a two-year, $13 million contract to join the Minnesota Timberwolves and will likely slot into a starting lineup featuring a loaded back court in Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball.
After failing to come to an agreement on a contract extension with Golden State, Kuminga played in just 20 games for the Warriors in 2025-26 before getting dealt to the Atlanta Hawks. He played 16 games in Atlanta, averaging 12.3 points and 5.3 assists-per-game in 22.1 minutes-per-contest.
Despite the fairly pedestrian numbers, Kuminga has proven he can deliver in the playoffs, scoring a surprising 21 points in the Hawks 107-106 Game 2 win over the New York Knicks in the First Round and going off for 30 in the 2024-25 playoffs with the Golden State in his age-22 season.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Can you name the youngest players to score at least 30 points in an NBA Playoff game for each franchise?
Good luck!
