The biggest game of college football this weekend was the Ole Miss Rebels hosting the LSU Tigers in Lane Kiffin’s highly anticipated return to Oxford.
In the end, it was Ole Miss and Trindad Chambliss who got the 32-24 win. Chambliss scored a 14-yard touchdown, and the Rebels converted the two-point conversion with just over six minutes left in what proved to be the game-winner. Following the game, Chambliss fueled the rivalry even more by saying the team’s slogan at the end of his postgame interview.
“Hotty ——- Toddy.”
Chambliss stayed at Ole Miss, although rumors swirled about Kiffin trying to lure Chambliss to Baton Rouge. After the game, Chambliss apologized for the comments, according to John Talty of CBS Sports.
It remains to be seen if Chambliss apologizes for the comments themselves, or for dropping a curse word on live television in front of tons of viewers.
